Account Abstraction: Evolution of account ownership on Ethereum
Externally owned accounts, the standard way of interacting with Ethereum and EVM blockchains, have long been touted as a limiting factor towards the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology. Account abstraction aims to supercharge the blockchain user experience, but it is not without its own share of controversies. Conflicting ERC standards & differing viewpoints on the implementation of Account Abstraction on Ethereum give rise to very interesting discussions on the future of accounts on Ethereum. This panel will explore the pros and cons of currently proposed standards & which novel ideas the future might hold.
