Let's install Android 14 on the Surface Duo

Описание: Below are instructions to install Android 14 on your Duo or Duo 2.
Please watch this video BEFORE attempting the install.
You are installing at your own risk and I am not responsible for a bricked device nor will I be able to provide support for any issues you run into.

Instructions

Steps to Flash Android 14 Pixel Experience to your Duo or Duo 2
**Warning!!!**
This will do the following:
1. Wipe your data from your device
2. Overrite the STOCK ROM for your surface duo/surface duo2
3. There is a chance you can brick your device.
This is a TUTORIAL and I AM NOT RESPOSIBLE for bricking your device if you follow these steps!



Download Platform Tools
https://developer.android.com/tools/r...
Copy all files needed for this into platform tools folder

Download The image file from https://github.com/thai-ng/treble_bui...
You want to make sure to dl the file ending in .img.xz


extract this file using winrar or 7zip and rename to something easier like system.img
move file to your Platform Tools Folder


Commands to unlock bootloader
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flashing unlock

Commands to install the Pixel Experience to your device
(copy all files to your Platform Release Tools Folder)
*all of my commands start with "./" as I am using terminal/powershell. If you are using standard cmd in windows you do not need "./"

./adb reboot fastboot
./fastboot delete-logical-partition system_ext_a
./fastboot delete-logical-partition system_ext_b
./fastboot delete-logical-partition product_a
./fastboot delete-logical-partition product_b
./fastboot flash system path to extracted system (whateveryounamedyourimage.img)
./fastboot reboot -w
