In this dev vlog, I talk about how Scared by Squares came to be. From working on my first multiplayer game for years, burning out, and nearly quitting game development, to discovering liminal space horror and starting over with a simple but strange idea. A horror game made entirely out of cubes.

This video is about starting over, learning from failure, and finding a game idea I could actually finish on my own.
