The XXVIII Triennial Congress of Ukrainian Canadians. Day 2: St Volodymyr Medal

Описание: Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Paul Grod presented the St. Volodymyr the Great Medal, the organization’s highest honor, to three Ukrainian Canadians whose actions have significantly advanced Ukraine and the principles of freedom and justice worldwide.

The awards ceremony took place during the XXVIII Triennial Congress of Ukrainian Canadians in Toronto. This year’s recipients are Andriy Hladyshevsky, Victor Hetmanchuk, and Borys Wrzesnewsky. The previous day, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s Special Representative for Economic Measures and former Foreign Affairs Minister, also received the medal.
