Moonotheism 3. Hanafism. Islam's pagan star and crescent symbolism.

Описание: Pre-Islamic Arabia was a pagan religious environment, with close links and parallels to Babylonian paganism and the associated moon worship. I will present a detailed examination of the historical, archaeological, etymological and religious/scriptural evidence showing how proto-Islam borrowed and, in many ways, still continues practices derived from Babylonian pagan moon worship. We will delve deeply into the early southern Arabian/Yemeni origins of what became Islam, and link these to the better-known northern borrowings as one narrative of long development and concealment.
