Ranked gameplay with brief touch on what I do with regards to finger placement.
Voice Transcript:
I recently received a comment from @Witheredz asking how I maintain control of the camera so well while shooting. For starters, I'm using a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller (the one with two back "GR" Buttons). I use my index (pointer) fingers to press R1/L1 (R/L), my middle fingers slide to press R2/L2 (ZR/ZL), and my ring fingers wrap around to press the back buttons as needed. My thumbs are typically resting on the thumbsticks. I usually keep my left thumb squarely on the thumbstick, while leaving my right thumb limber so it can slide between thumbstick, Y/X/A (reload/swap/melee). And I have my controls replicated from my PS5 settings. I have my preferred sensitivity down from my days on PS4 and PC, so I understand mostly how far I need to move my thumbstick to look in whichever direction. It isn't perfect, but it is more than serviceable for me.
I do not typically "warm up" - I exclusively play Ranked when I do play Apex - but if I find myself not ready to queue up then I will shoot moving DUMMIEs and try to swap between targets after emptying a clip or missing too many shots. With that out of the way, I'm going to jump into the ranked gameplay. Less commentary from me, but I'll keep the handcam up if it helps you out. Thanks for watching.
