Jessica Damon contributes her duet, “here, where we last met, by the mountains, by the sea” (in loving memory of malia), to the varied world of With/In Sight, a concert of dance inspired by the theme of Dance and Spirituality. Presented February 22–24, 2025, the concert features works by four choreographers—each offering a unique doorway into embodied experience.
In this Premiere duet, Jessica Damon invites the audience to enter her world of childhood recollection, fragility, tenderness and vulnerability. Through weight-sharing and bursts of youthful spontaneity, dancers Jessica Damon and Michele Torino Hower celebrate the resilience of relationship and the sacredness of simply being seen.
