Spring Yamadori Hunting In the Cambrian Foothills, Gorse Bonsai ?

Описание: Hello,It is early Spring here in the UK and the warmer weather is returning, so the wild bonsai hunting season has about a month left. I will only collect up until mid April depending on the location and species, so that leaves about a month left to find some little gems. Please bear in mind I am only out looking for potential bonsai (yamadori/potensai) in this video and I am not digging out/lifting/collecting, I am just out spotting stuff to collect in the next few weeks. My neighbour owns 1000's of acres up here and has given me permission to collect on her land, so let's get after it ! Before the window closes for another year.
I would very much like to create some Gorse bonsai over the coming years and have tried developing a few small ones before but nothing big. I think that in nature Gorse looks very reminiscent of the bonsai we see in old Japanese woodblock print and scrolls. Also the yellow flowers will look great, I have googled "Gorse bonsai" and seen some great examples so I would like to find, collect and develop one.Please leave comments below regarding Gorse as bonsai as I am most interested to discuss this further with other bonsai folk, personally they remind me of Needle Juniper visually just with a much more rugged appearance and rougher bark.
Anyhow, let's go look !
