Dave Pomeroy performs his composition "Pendulum" live at Grimeys with 2 basses and Boss multi-effect and looping devices. The title acknowledges the endless push and pull of the universe, and that in the end, the truth, and the cool stuff, is most often found in the middle. "Pendulum" began as a two-note motif with a ring modulator effect and an improvised melody, and grew into a multi-cultural sonic exploration. This and two other "BassScapes" improvisational instrumental tunes can be found on Dave's new CD, "Angel in the Ashes." Music Row's Bob Oermann called the album "wildy inventive...a fantastic listening experience!"
