I remember when we used to go to school, during the June exam period, after the exams we would go to the grocery store across from the school with our classmates and buy an Eskimo (a type of sour ice pop) and eat it on our way back home.
Really, after the final exam of the year in that hot and humid June weather, the only thing that could refresh us was those delicious Eskimos.
They made the Eskimos in various flavors, like cornelian cherry Eskimo, plum Eskimo, but my favorite Eskimo was the wild plum and sour cherry Eskimo.
To make this delicious Eskimo, when the fruits are completely mashed and still juicy on the heat, it's the best time to take some out and make the Eskimo, and let the remaining mixture boil longer to thicken and make the processed sour fruit.
🔴Ingredients:
500 gr Sour Cherries
500 gr Plum Stencil
500 gr Wild Plums
One cup of water
Salt and Persian Hogweed Powder (golpar) to taste
