Tonight, I drove through Charleston with one rule: I didn’t choose the turns.

Green light meant left.
Red light meant right.
No lights, I took the closest turn.
No highways.
Sixty minutes total.

I didn’t plan a route, I didn’t aim for specific areas, and I had no idea where I’d end up. The drive took me through quiet residential streets, in-between spaces, and parts of the city you don’t see in highlight reels or listing photos.

When you remove control, you see the city the way people actually live in it.
Not highlights. Not listings. Just real life.
