Описание: জয়পুরহাট জেলা সদরের বেল আমলা গ্রামে ঐতিহাসিক বারোশিবালয় মন্দির যা দেশের এক মাত্র ও সর্ববৃহৎ শীব মন্দির। শিবের বারোটি মন্দির নিয়ে গঠিত বলে তা বারো শিবালয় বা বারো শিব মন্দির হিসেবেই পরিচিতি পেয়ে আসছে সেই প্রায় ৭শ’ বছর ধরে। এটি জয়পুরহাট সদর উপজেলার বেল আমলা গ্রামে, কয়েক বিঘা জমির উঠানে ও ছোট যমুনা নদীর গা ঘেঁষে অবস্থিত , শিব ঠাকুরের বারোটি মন্দির। Twelve Shivalaya temples | The historic Baroshibalaya temple at Bel Amla village in Joypurhat district headquarters is the only and largest Shiva temple in the country. As it consists of twelve temples of Shiva, it has been known as Baro Shibalaya or Baro Shiva Mandir for about 700 years. It is located in Bel Amla village of Joypurhat Sadar upazila, in the yard of a few bighas of land and adjacent to the small river Jamuna, twelve temples of Shiva Thakur.
