Seven Minute Frosting:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup cold water
4 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar OR 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine sugar, water, egg whites, and cream of tartar. Mix well for 1 minute. Place mixture over double boiler and cook mixing with mixer for 7 minutes or till stiff peaks form in frosting.
