According to the India Meteorological Department, maximum temperatures at Safdarjung are forecast between 27°C and 29°C, with some parts of Delhi-NCR likely to touch 30°C. The sudden spike, driven by dry westerly winds and weak western disturbances, has pushed temperatures more than 4°C above normal. Weather experts warn that northwest India, including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh, could see continued warm conditions, signaling an early shift toward summer-like weather patterns.
