The Jamui case that shocked the nation has taken a dramatic turn

Описание: .Nandan Yadav, identified by police as the main accused in the alleged assault and molestation of two Class 10 students, was shot in the leg during a police encounter on September 22. Police said he allegedly tried to flee and attacked the police team during an operation to arrest him. He was subsequently arrested and taken to hospital for treatment. The development comes after videos of the incident triggered nationwide outrage. Police have so far identified several people allegedly involved, with the investigation and arrests continuing. But an encounter is not the same as a court verdict. The victims deserve justice through a fair investigation, due process and accountability for everyone found responsible. For a child who was simply trying to return home, justice must mean more than outrage — it must mean protection and accountability.Follow @thesatindia for stories, perspectives, and conversations that make you think.#Jamui #Bihar #NandanYadav #WomenSafety #TheSATIndia
