With this securityProbe Modem Bundle, your sensorProbe8 Linux, securityProbe, securityProbe 5E, securityProbe5ES or secuirtyProbe X20/X60 device can connect to the Internet anywhere and everywhere.

This modem bundle is ideal for remote locations where a securityProbe is being used to monitor and control important environmental factors. Once connected to the securityProbe you can use the usual notification and alerting functions to:

Send SMS, MMS and FAX alerts from the sensorProbe8 Linux, securityProbe, securityProbe-5E Standard and securityProbe5E Remote Monitoring Appliances.

Use the "Heartbeat" feature built into the securityProbe units web interface to "push" out SMS, email and HTTP data to remote web servers via your GSM / GPRS network at pre determined times.

Important: For the latest AKCP securityProbe series from well known manufacturer AKCess Pro, a USB to Serial adapter (item number 10178) is required.

The official AKCP-supplier Didactum also provides a Speech adapter (item number 10300) for this GSM/GPRS Modem Bundle so the securityProbe Rack Monitoring Appliances could also send speech messages out of Server Room and Data Center.
