ABBA AT THE OPENING OF POLAR MUSIC STUDIOS 1978

Описание: A8BA'S purpose built and state - of - the - art recording studios opened in Summer 1978 ,in a former swimming ' pool and cinema complex building ... The brochure for to promote the new studios contains some wonderful photos I've included here .You see that the walls do not have all their glass " sky and clouds " panels , and also that there were round windows to the left of the mixing desks ,which were later covered over with panels ... we see the 2nd lobby , after the main entrance ,and the staircase leading upstairs. I'm unsure whether the door on the right of the staircase led into the studio ,or if the studio was up the stairs..At the opening , we see A8BA with Rune Soderquist, A8BA's album and stage set designer ( who I've personally met at an A8BA fan club weekend and who autographed my vynil of The Album ...sadly he has now passed away so I treasure that meeting in my heart) ..and with Lena Andersson who recorded her own covers of Fernando ,Hasta Mañana and SOS , and was a backing vocalist on the 77 tour ..The two men with the ladies I do not know ...perhaps musicians? ..Anyway, I hope you really enjoy this Montage.
