Three places covered are Bettada RanganathaSwamy temple, Konanur Hanging Bridge & Kattepura Dam. All are within 10 km radius from Ramanathapua, a famous place for temples and Cauvery river basin.

Details of the places covered in this video

1. Bettada Ranganatha Swamy temple: A temple on a hilltop near Kabbaligere village- 41 km from Hassan. From Bangalore, it is 202 km

How to reach: Hassan-Gorur-Arkalgud-Konanur Road via Kanive Basappa Temple to Bettada Rangathaswamy Temple - Road is pretty good.

We get to trek and explore the scenic beauty from the hilltop with a small peaceful temple and its surroundings.

2. Konanur Hanging Bridge- Built across river Cauvery. - Second longest hanging Bridge in Karnataka. It Connects Konanur to Kattepura
How to Reach: Hassan - Arkalgud-Konanur (via Kanive Basappa temple road) - 48 km
We get to see the Cauvery river and a hanging bridge connecting Konanur & Kattepura and Lord Shiva temple beside the river. One of the most beautiful place and peaceful too.

3. Kattepura Dam - built across river Cauvery in the year 1732.
How to reach: Hassan - Arkalgud-Ramanathapura- Kattepura - 57 km

One of its kind in the design, built across the river Cauvery. Awesome place to witness the might of the river with its beauty & also a near-perfect place to enjoy the sunset beside the gushing river water.
