One of the best hiking destinations on the Alaska Highway 👇
➡️ We are Danny & Danie and we are currently sharing our entire Alaska Highway road trip journey! FoIIow along if this road trip is on your bucket list!
📍Stone Mountain Provincial Park is the first super scenic stop along the Alaska Highway! There are a ton of hiking trails, lakes, & more to explore.
🏕️A great basecamp for exploring this park is Summit Lake Campground. No water or hook ups but the toilets are super clean and there are campsites right on the lake.
🥾Hikes in the area you can’t miss are Flower Springs Lake Trail, Baba Canyon Trail, and Summit Peak Trail.
🐶 This park and all of the trails are dog-friendly.
🐻 Make sure you are bear aware, everywhere along the highway, but especially in campgrounds where there is food. Pack and store everything away properly and never feed the animals!
