The bright lights of Pickering Brook lit up the sky on Friday 4 July 2025, as the community got together to celebrate the grand opening of its new field lighting.
💡The new 150-lux lights are a game-changer, helping our teams train better and grow stronger. Pickering Brook Master’s Female Football Team has now hit over 30 players– a first!
🙌Special thanks to Mayor Margaret Thomas, City of Kalamunda CEO Anthony Vuleta, Adam Hort MLA and the Hon Klasey Hirst MLC who shared some inspiring words of how the project brings the community together, supports health and wellbeing.
The $366,600 upgrade was delivered in partnership with the City of Kalamunda, the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (formerly Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries) through the Club Night Lights Program, the Pickering Brook Sports Club, and the WA Football Commission.
