How does an entire population of bacteria become antibiotic resistant?
a) usage of antibiotics will kill of sensitive bacteria, and allow the resistant bacteria to survive
b) the resistant bacteria survive and reproduce, passing down the genes to the next generation
c) future generations of bacteria are also now antibiotic resistant.
