What for? I stacked 1024 images of the Pleiades star cluster on one camera and 36 images on another.

I decided to make the 1024 images challenge myself to show how the stacking work and how it affects the signal to noise ratio (SNR). The result was the one I expected. Therefore you may watch this video and decide for yourself how many images you need to stack to get the image acceptable to you.
The equipment used to image the #Pleiades:
Setup 1
Mount: iOptron GEM45EC
#Astronomy camera: QHYCCD 268M
#Telescope: Bresser NT203/1000
0,95x coma corrector by Sharpstar
Guiding: Datyson T7M using finderscope 8x50
12x5 min. exposures in each channel (RGB) - 3 hours total exposure.
Setup 2
Mount: LXD75
Telescope: Askar FRA500
0,7x reducer by Askar
Astronomy camera: QHYCCD 5-III 178M
1024x15 sec. exposures, unguided - about 5 hours of total exposure.
