Anne Arundel County firefighters rescued a person from the icy surface of Nabbs Creek in Glen Burnie.
County fire officials told WBAL-TV 11 News that firefighters were called around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday to the 800 block of Nabbs Creek Road after a person slid down a slippery hill and ended up on the icy surface.
Fire personnel and a special operations team members found the person clinging to a bulkhead at the end of a pier behind a house and used rope to pull them up the hill, SKY 11 video showed.
Fire officials said the person was not taken to a hospital.
