📖 THE RABBANA DUA:

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

*Transliteration:*
"Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-naar"

*Meaning:*
"Our Lord, give us in this world good, and in the Hereafter good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

📖 WHERE DOES THIS DUA COME FROM?

This beautiful dua is from Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 201. Allah tells us about people who pray:

"وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ"

"And among them are those who say, 'Our Lord, give us in this world good, and in the Hereafter good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'"
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:201)

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say this dua often. It was one of his favorites because it asks for EVERYTHING good — for now and forever!
