Works ministry begins boat registration exercise from Port Bell

The Ministry of Works and transport has today commenced registration of water vessels in Uganda. The exercise, which kicked off at Port Bell in Luzira, will also involve a census on 50 landing sites on Lake Victoria. According to the executive secretary of Central Corridor, Capt Dieudonne Dukundane, the exercise will boost the tourism industry as well as trade among member countries.
