BYD's global expansion continues unabated and the next model to make its way around the world is the Tang L, which will be known as the Sealion 8 in international markets.
A three-row, 7-seat, plug-in hybrid or electric SUV, the Tang L packs all of BYD's latest tech in, including Megawatt charging, a 580kW rear motor, God's Eye B autonomous driving package, and even a drone. We drove the hybrid, which isn't quite as powerful, and doesn't charge as fast, but it is the one that's going to countries like Australia and New Zealand later this year.
