Picked up a Backfire Zealot as we have been having issues with Exway support on getting our Flex (hub) fixed. The Exway has been un-ridable for 60+ days due to a BMS error which I am suspecting is a bad battery but that's for a different post on all the back and forth with their support.
This is our first belt drivetrain as our previous 2 boards are hub motors. So far I really like the torque for climbing hills and the belt noise has actually been helpful on the trail to warn walkers that I am passing. Time will tell how much belt maintenance I will have to do.
I have also noticed that there isn't a lot of battery sag when under 40% which I do get with our Wowgo 2S and Exway Flex (when it did work).
