Before Starting with you should familiar with AutoCAD user interface.
When we open a AutoCAD 2016 we will get this window,
Let’s get a over all look of AutoCAD working window.
@ the top corner of the window, we have application menu.
It has basic command of AutoCAD.
New
Open
Save
Save as.
Export.
Publish.
Print.
Drawing utility.
And close.
And also recently opened file list.

We can change this to currently changed list.
Next to application menu we have application quick access tool bar.
In this we have some similar commands of application menu and also preview, switch window & work space.

This is title bar this is showing the name of currently open file. @ the top right corner we have info center tool bar.
Below this we are having ribbon. This is our working area, this the view cube it will use effectively in 3d work space. Below the view cube this is the navigation tool bar.
