Описание: Can the New Mini Thumper print Mezzotints? - I’ve been asked a few times whether our affordable Mini Thumper Gunning Etching Press can handle mezzotint… so here it is in action!

This is my mezzotint copper plate – inked, wiped, and printed using our 8mm raised 100% woven wool blanket and 1.5mm swanskin, with 280 gsm Fabriano paper and our own Ironbridge Intaglio Etching Ink.

The Mini Thumper is a strong, direct-drive press with solid top and bottom rollers, and it prints beautifully – even mezzotint and photogravure.

Small but mighty, and built to last.
