In regards to the most recent Unity changes & after 5 years of using Unity, I decided to change to another game engine.
This is the Flax Engine, a powerful open source game engine that allows both C++ and C# with an amazingly similar workflow to Unity. Although recent in indistry standards, it's potential is immense and it is the best and most likely candidate to replace the hole left by Unity.
