9 great composers explained in 9 emotions | Marcel Zentner | TEDxInnsbruck

Описание: Links to the respective music pieces can be found in the description

While some people find their way into classical music naturally, others don’t, finding it boring, overwhelming or inaccessible. Yet, just like other types of music, classical music is a source of unique emotional power and reward. The idea of this talk is to use emotional experiences as something we all know and share, as a gateway into classical music, which many of us know less about. To this end, the talk provides a brief introduction to nine great composers, from J.S. Bach to B. Bartok, through the lens of nine types of emotion that music has been found to evoke.
