Описание: Surah Az-Zukhruf is the 43rd surah (chapter) of The Glorious Quran. Name of the surah means The Ornaments of Gold. It has 89 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in the holy city of Makkah i.e., before Prophet ﷺ migrated to the city of Medina. This surah can be found in juz / paara 25.

This Surah strongly condemns the beliefs, superstitions, and stubborn resistance of the Quraysh and other Arabs of the time. It exposes how their ignorance led them to oppose the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who was striving to reform society, and warns that Allah has always destroyed those who obstruct His guidance. Even if harm were to come to the Prophet, Allah’s punishment of the wrongdoers is certain.
The Surah challenges the foundations of their religion. Although they admit that Allah alone is the Creator and Giver of blessings, they still associate partners with Him. They falsely claim that angels are female and daughters of Allah, worship them, and invent beliefs without any knowledge or revelation.
When criticized, they excuse their practices by blaming destiny or blindly following their forefathers. The Surah refutes these arguments, reminding them that divine approval is known through revelation, not by whatever happens in the world, and that even Prophet Abraham rejected the false traditions of his ancestors. Their claim that previous religions supported shirk is also rejected, since no Prophet—including Jesus عليه السلام—ever taught the worship of anyone besides Allah.
The Surah also answers their objection to the Prophet’s status, showing that rejecting messengers due to lack of wealth or power is an old pattern, just as Pharaoh rejected Moses عليه السلام.
In conclusion, the Surah firmly establishes pure monotheism: Allah has no children, no partners, and no independent intercessors. He alone is the Lord of the universe, and intercession is only possible by His permission for those who follow the truth and obey Him.
