We recently sat down with St. Louis artist Lil Shxwn for an exclusive Off The Porch Interview! During our conversation he talked about his experience growing up in St. Louis, The history of the city and it’s prominence in Hip-Hop over the years til now, his upbringing. which included his father going to jail at a very early age, which forced him to become the man of the house at an early age to his mother’s untimely passing, which forced him to grow up even faster to protect and help raise her to then being split up and raised by different family members to discovering his love for music, which began when his mother took him to a Cash Money concert and him getting to meet Lil’ Wayne back stage when he was a kid, being influence by his cousin Nelly who purposely kept him away from the music industry at an early age to ensure he wasn’t influence by anything negative that came with the business to him following his own passion for music and making a way for himself, releasing a few songs of his own that caught a local buzz in the city to now releasing his new single and video for “Leave” featuring Yungeen Ace
