‘Disabled’ train near Union Station causes GO Transit delays

Описание: Commuters going through Toronto’s Union Station may see delays due to a “disabled” train near the major downtown terminal.

The issue was first reported shortly after the start of service on Monday morning and resulted in a challenging morning commute for many GTA residents.

While repair personnel work on the issue, Metrolinx says commuters may see delays of up to two hours. In an update shortly after 12:20, the transit agency downgraded the wait times, saying delays may set commuters back up to 60 minutes.


Based on the GO’s website, as of 12:30 p.m., all seven train lines that service through Union are hit with significant delays.

Two trains on the Kitchener line, scheduled to depart the downtown Toronto terminal at 11:40 a.m. and 12:04 p.m., have been cancelled, as well as two Stouffville line trains that were scheduled to leave at noon and 1 p.m.
