Ok, Is this the most beautiful drive in the world???

The Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) is hands down one of the most scenic roads we've ever driven, glaciers, waterfalls, turquoise lakes, and mountain views the entire way. Most people hit the obvious spots, but there are a few hidden gems you don't want to miss.

Here are our fave stops from Banff to Jasper:

Lake Louise - Technically just before the Parkway starts, but you can't skip Canada's most famous lake.

Bow Lake - Peaceful, stunning views, and a cute cafe for a snack stop.

Peyto Lake - A short walk to one of the most iconic lookouts in the Rockies. This may be one of my favorite views in the whole country.

Mistaya Canyon - Underrated stop with a dramatic river-carved canyon just off the road.

Athabasca Glacier - Walk right up to a glacier for incredible views. Book a tour if you want to hike on the glacier.

Sunwapta Falls - Quick stop with powerful falls and a scenic bridge view.

Athabasca Falls - One of the most dramatic waterfalls in Jasper, this waterfall is truly impressive.

Horseshoe Lake - Cliff jumping heaven in summer! Or just come for the clear blue water and sun baked lounging spots.

Jasper - The perfect end to the drive. Jasper is the antithesis of Banff. Far quieter, just as beautiful and still feels a bit wild
