Описание: I show how to replace the tougher of the two ribbons on a Kenwood KDC-X969. I don't realize that this stereo actually has 2 ribbons that control the dual face unit. This stereo would not even turn on. After this repair, it turns on and works, but doesn't close up like its suppose to. I already ordered the other ribbon and will be repairing that as well. I might just add it into this video later on. I found the ribbon on ebay. part # J84-0154-05 you will have to unsolder the plate from the flex ribbon, as i have not seen any replacements avail. for that. At the end of the video i had to mute a part of it when the stereo turned on, because of music copy rights. i think it just cut that part of the video out.
