The SL24 Basketball Classic was established in memory of Sean Locke, a 2012 St. Mark’s High School graduate, 2016 University of Delaware graduate, and former Division I basketball player who lost his battle with depression in July 2018. The event is rooted in providing information, outlets, and resources to youth in the Delaware community.
The funds raised benefit the SL24: UnLocke the Light Foundation, which helps educate, assist, and support those battling depression and suicidal ideation. The funds will also allow SL24 to continue providing valuable services and programs at Sean’s House and Sean’s Rooms across Delaware.

Spread awareness and provide resources to reach every young person in their time of need
Spotlight positive help-seeking behaviors and coping strategies
Help “keep the lights on” at Sean’s House and Sean’s Rooms across the state
Provide crucial resources to individuals in need of financial support for professional mental health services
Identify yourself as an advocate for mental health and as a voice for those who need support most
