Day 1 — Light Before Life
Genesis 1:1–5 · Moses 2:1–5 · Abraham 4:1–5
Creation does not begin with people, land, or even the sun.
It begins with light.
In today’s reading, we see God speaking order into existence, separating light from darkness and establishing the foundation upon which everything else will grow. Reading Genesis alongside Moses and Abraham invites us to notice what God chooses to create first, and what that reveals about His nature and His purposes.
As you listen and read along, consider why light comes before life, and what that pattern might teach us about how God works in our own lives.
