The Ivatt of Purbeck - 41312 on the Swanage Railway - 26/10/17

Описание: Since returning to traffic in 2016, the Mid Hants Railway's LMS Ivatt 2MT No. 41312 has ventured to various different railways - including the East Somerset, Epping Ongar, Pontypool & Bleanavon and Severn Valley Railways just to name a few! In October, another railway would be added to the list, with the 2-6-2 travelling to Dorset, for a visit to the Swanage Railway. The original plan was for it to become a star attraction at their 'Autumn Steam Gala' over the 13th - 15th October, however the event was cancelled due to a shortage of locomotives. Despite this, the loco was pressed into service on the standard timetable, over the October half term. With a free day, we popped down to the Isle of Purbeck to witness the loco in action, on the 26th October.
