The 3D animation for the advertising agency Contact GmbH from Oberhausen could be described as an heavy matter. In the truest sense of the word, because this was about the tons heavy undercarriage system of a tracked vehicle. In cooperation with Contact, the idea arose to have the chassis impressively assembled. A unique opportunity to gain insight into the technology of a product that must both function precisely and is robust enough to carry and move heavy loads.
During the implementation, it was necessary to digitally disassemble the complete chassis into its individual parts and then reassemble it in an effective workflow. It was important that we build up and maintain the greatest flexibility when working in order to be able to respond comfortably to changes in every production step.
