COPPOLA'S OFFICES HELD UP BY BANDITS

The Buenos Aires office of film director Francis Ford Coppola was targeted by armed thieves during a hold- up at his company Zoetrope Argentina, according to federal police.

Coppola was reported to be out of Buenos Aires during the robbery on Wednesday night ( 26th September) , and a police spokesman said a federal judge had begun investigating the case.

The official, who spoke on customary condition of anonymity, said he had no more details, adding a criminal complaint still had not been
filed.

Independent news agency Noticias Argentinas reported that five bandits entered the offices of Zoetrope Argentina and briefly held employees before taking computers, cameras and other equipment. No serious injuries were reported.

Coppola had no immediate comment on reports that one of the computers taken held one of the director's scripts for an upcoming
movie.
