In this video, we address three of the most frequent technical questions we receive at exhibitions, over the phone, and from customers, friends, and former users.

The first question concerns carbon composite construction: how it compares with conventional fiberglass laminate systems, and what the practical advantages and trade-offs are in terms of stiffness, weight, durability, and overall hull behavior.

The second question is how our rigid (non-inflatable) boats compare with inflatables. We have covered performance and ride characteristics in other videos; here, the focus is on watertight integrity, hull damage scenarios, and what happens if the hull is punctured or the boat takes on water.

The third question is about safety under severe damage conditions: if a boat suffers major impact damage and water ingress occurs, what happens next, and how safely can the vessel remain operable or afloat?

This video is intentionally different from our usual content. It is more “catastrophic” in format, but designed to demonstrate real-world behavior under failure-oriented scenarios, with emphasis on flotation, reserve buoyancy, and survivability. We had a lot of fun making it, and we are already collecting ideas and suggestions for a second part.
