Codon Adaptation Index (CAI) is a measure of how well a gene’s codon usage is adapted to the host organism — important for gene expression efficiency in bioengineering and synthetic biology. 🧠
In this quick Python snippet, we compute CAI to assess how optimized a gene is for translation.
In this video, we:
