After modifying the throttle body of my Jeep for better airflow its now time to install it. This is a clip of how I went about doing this.
You do need to reset the ecu/pcm so it can re learn how to run with the better air flow.
I have already driven it and must say I am very impressed. With the modifications already done this was a great match. I don't need to accelerate as much for the same result. Even the exhaust has a more beefy rumble at acceleration. I haven't had a chance to floor it yet but I am sure it will be a pleasure,
As the transmission cable is also connected to the throttle body it seems to change gears at a higher RPM as there is more airflow then before at the same cable position.
I DO NOT MAKE THESE ANYMORE AT THIS TIME.
This is real back yard mechanics.
All the mechanical repairs and services I do are done in our back yard.
