U.S. Charges Ex-Indian Intelligence Officer Vikash Yadav in Plot to Kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun

Описание: The U.S. Department of Justice has charged Vikash Yadav, a former Indian government intelligence officer, with conspiracy to assassinate Sikh separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in New York. Yadav, who allegedly worked with co-conspirator Nikhil Gupta, is accused of plotting the murder-for-hire scheme targeting Pannun, a prominent Khalistani figure. Nikhil Gupta was arrested in the Czech Republic and extradited to the U.S. in June. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges. Yadav is now the second Indian to be indicted in the attempted assassination case.
