I went to Craig and Nicky's farm to learn about cattle and left understanding so much more. The massive banks in these erosion gullies made so much sense because I understand this type of landscape. Hills and runoff from a ridge that backs onto their property. Flowers, grasses and shifting mindsets. Craig is an all-round top man, full of wisdom. George featured quite predominantly and there is a lovely moment where he waited for me even though Craig was calling him, what a good dog!
Google Earth looks like it was taken back in 2019 so interesting contrast between then and 2022. 2019 was on the back of the worst Dry on record.
Regenerative Farming is taking a surge forward into our future, name any problem we face today and when you follow the trail back to grassroots, the answer is Regenerative Farming. Health; both mental and physical, environment on land, rivers and the sea, the atmosphere, the entire food system, education and a circular economy.
