[Eus] Otsailaren 4an, Santa Ageda bezperan, kaleetan zehar abesten den Santa Agedako kanta herrikoia. Lurra kolpatzen duten makilez lagundua da kantua, lurraren emankortasuna pizteko, jatorri paganoan egiten zen bezala.
[Esp] Canción popular vasca de Santa Águeda que se canta por las calles el 4 de febrero, víspera de Santa Águeda. El canto es acompañado con palos que golpean el suelo para despertar la fertilidad de la tierra, como se hacía en su origen pagano.
[Eng] Basque folk song of Santa Agueda that is sung in the streets on February 4, the eve of Santa Agueda. The song is accompanied with sticks that hit the ground to awaken the fertility of the earth, as it was done in its pagan origin.
