Don’t get all crazy when you conjugate
verbs in the preterite tense
That’s the time that shows the past,
things that began and already are done.

When the verb is regular and it ends in -ar
drop the -ar and add the new endings, which they are:
-é, -aste, -ó, -amos, -aron
bailé, bailaste, bailó, bailamos, bailaron

When the verbs are regular
and they end in -er or -ir
drop those endings and just add
-í, -iste, -ió, -imos, -ieron

y comer es: comí, comiste, comió,
comimos, comieron

y escribir es escribí, escribiste, escribió, escribimos, escribieron
