Описание: The “Theme Park Design Series” is a sequence of TEA events focusing on specific disciplines within the themed entertainment industry. The intent is to shine a spotlight on trades that are an integral part of project teams, but may not be as well understood as others. The target audience is both students learning the themed entertainment business, as well as more experienced TEA Members who have not yet had the opportunity to work with these specialties and to help develop a better understanding of them.

The second in this series of events about theme park design, Architecture is the next logical subject. In our first session we discussed landscape architecture as the first impression guests get as they approach a new attraction. Architecture is where all the magic happens. As the Master Builder, the Architect is responsible for the entire facility design team and has the challenge of meetings the goals and dreams of the Owner while still delivering a product that is safe, accessible, and meets all code requirements. Two of the best in the business, Coffee Polk and Andy Fastman from Cuningham have been creating immersive environments for themed attractions for years. While architecture is the heart of every new building design and construction, we will discuss what makes this discipline especially exciting and challenging in the themed entertainment industry.
