Synopsis:
Only gopis are allowed to enter the secret groves of Vrindavan where Lord Krishna and his gopis engage in their Ras Lila, their dance of divine live. Even Lord Shiva was barred from entering until he was transformed into a gopi. Arjuna's journey eventually leads him to temporarily shed his manliness and be completely transformed into Arjuni, both physically and emotionally. Lord Krishna later takes Arjuni to a remote grove to fulfill her desires.

Symbolism:
Arjuna's journey to Vrindavan represents your journey of spiritual growth, culminating in the discovery of Lord Krishna's divine presence, not in Vrindavan, but within you, as your true self, Atma, as Lord Krishna himself taught in the Bhagavad Gita and elsewhere. Arjuna's bath in a sacred lake and transformation into a gopi represents your spiritual practice and transformation into an uttama adhikari, a completely prepared spiritual aspirant. Arjuni's intimate union with Lord Krishna in a hidden grove represents your divine union with Lord Krishna in the deep recesses of your heart.
